I was named after Lana Lang from Smallville. 'Twas my father's fictional crush (or maybe he had a crush on the actress LOL)

A month ago

When I need to, or the situation calls for it

5. What sports do you play/have played?

I've played softball and soccer back in my junior high school days (that's 7th to 10th grade here) during intramurals. I never play it professionally though

6. What's the first thing you notice about other people?

Hmm...maybe the way they wear their clothes? In my mind I always think, "ooh, the outfit fits them, wish that style fits me" or sometimes "i wish they could've worn this with that instead of those"

Brown

Both. Or! Scary movie but there's a happy ending!

9. Any special talents?

I can bend my left thumb the other way. So it would look like I'm showing 4 fingers but the thumb is resting at the back of my hand. LOL!

When I was in elementary, I wanted to be a chef. When I was in junior high, I wanted to be a web developer. When I was in senior high (11th and 12th grade), I wanted to be a game developer. Right now, I want to do clerical work 🥲

Lana adds someone who actually knows High School Musical lmao (I love you Carlos but Troy Bolton has never been on time to anything in his entire life)

No but okay what Lana adds is someone who really isn’t involved in the drama!  She didn’t really know Nini or Ricky before the show so she has no opinion on their breakup, she got the role she wanted so she’s not trying to sabotage anyone, and ultimately her priority is for this to be the best show it can be!  

She still ends up involved in some of the drama, despite her best efforts, but she adds a different dynamic to the group by really just wanting to help everyone so that they can all be at their best for the show (and because she grows to care about them) without having an opinion on what decisions they should make — like for example, when Ricky asks for her help with choreography, she tells him straight up that she wants to help him for the show but she has no interest in being part of a convoluted scheme to win Nini back

But most importantly, she adds the best line in the entire thing — boyfriends come and go, but high school musical is forever

Six random facts about me

I was tagged by @dazedaurora my lil 🥐 to share six random facts about myself so I’ll try to rub together my two brain cells for this.

I’m a vet tech. I have four dogs (3 Chihuahuas: Bambam, Bella, & Draco and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Lily) and two Bearded Dragons (Leo & Sorna) + grew up riding horses and spent a few years raising show rabbits. So u could say I am a MASSIVE animal lover. Side note: I’m allergic to cats. But I love them.

My favorite movie franchises are Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Jaws, & Harry Potter. *hence my BB8 half sleeve and plans for a velociraptor tattoo* sorry mom.

I was a cheerleader from eight grade to senior year. I loved competing but HATED cheering at the football and basketball games. I would get distracted constantly and fuck up a dance.

My husband and I are high school sweethearts 🤢😂 Started dating as freshmen and we’re going on 12? years this March. You start to lose track after marriage and kids and Mortgage payments, bc that’ll take years off your life and mess with your concept of time. 🤢🤮😭

I am a super shitty distance driver because I’m borderline narcoleptic. I will deadass fall asleep after an hour of driving and most mornings just driving to work I have to shake and slap myself a bit to get there in one piece. I can sleep anywhere, any time, any position.

I have extremely vivid dreams and at least 85% of them involve sexual situations. I have no idea why my brain wants my to be a thot in dreamland so bad. My husband takes pride in the fact that he often cock-blocks me, even in my dreams 🙄😂

Task #001/??? People who have influenced your character’s life.

Lana Viper was raised by her father. She barely remembers what her mother looks like at this point. Her father taught her from the start what it meant to be a Viper. She’s used to late nights, long walks home, and nice things. Despite the toxic environment she has grown up in and the crass way in which she interacts with her father, the love between them is pure. She knows that he will always have her back regardless of what she has done or where she has been.

With The Viper Room as her father’s legacy, she hopes to one day inherit the family business, but she has a lot of growing to do. She has seen her father come home with different people every night, drink himself silly, and then reprimand her for the same actions. The back and forth and bitterness is something that she resents but she knows that when it comes down to it, he loves her. And she loves him. Though she’ll never say that out loud, not if she can help it.
