there's something about doing reincarnation plots and, like. implementing that in verses, that really gets to me with wuya. because she's had quite a lot of awful lives- most of them spent alone. but there is always that one life, that one. where she finds someone she loves, people she cherishes, where she has a place to belong and feel wanted in. she values those lives, and it's the first time she'd experience the fear of losing all of it to things she cant control. idk. im just thinking of these, moments that wuya lets herself have. enjoying herself, feeling more alive than she's ever felt. rghhg honestly i cannot believe how much of a lovergirl wuya has become.
and that does bring me to like. love in general. media has made love into this cringe, one note concept. but it's a lot more than just, the hearts, the kissing, the hand holding. for wuya it's everything; it's her belonging, her home, her sense of feeling completed or finished finally. and it isn't to discredit her; wuya is strong, and independent. love isn't submitting to someone else, it's giving them your unconditional trust and love in return. it's about equality and a mutual give and take. and YK WHAT'S CRAZY??? platonic and familial love are counted in this !! love of ANY kind !!!!!!
idk i think about what love means to wuya a lot. how in these reincarnation scenarios, they're the lives that end up sticking to her the most. that carry in her memory no matter how many times she's reborn.
