occupation. informant , she collects information on curses and cursed spirits. as well as other non-human beings. though this is a cover, wuya's true occupation is tied to her domain, and her past lives & history. she has a tenuous arrangement with the clans for her protection and security in japan, for information in return.
" cursed technique. " 言为定 . Yì yán wéi dìng . ( it's a promise/deal ) // only able to be activated once a deal has been made between wuya and another party. it's activation allows wuya to 'bargain' with the universe itself; which is what grants her the ability to make the impossible possible. she can grant power to people without it ( or more to someone who already does ), money, objects, she can alter events or ensure a possible future for the pactee. she can even bring back the dead. the limit of what she's able to do is based on whether or not you are willing to pay the cost. collection of the required payment will be almost immediate- done so by a secondary divine form, unseen by anyone but wuya and whoever has made the pact with her.
domain expansion. 乌鸦的神龛 . Wūyā de shénkān. ( the crow's shrine ) . // this is a very old, non-lethal domain. visually it appears as nothing more than a shrine or home of some kind- or a combination of both. centered within an endless bamboo grove. the architecture is chinese, specifically suzhou style. there are dozens of crows seen along the outside of this shrine, and the realm itself feels as though it's stuck perpetually in a pleasant early spring. / the domain itself has a calming effect and feel on any jujutsu sorcerers or cursed spirits caught within it. anything with cursed energy will be effected by this. to add to it, the domain itself restricts the use of cursed energy, no matter how powerful the user- wuya's domain is effectively a shut off valve that is often times used to prohibit conflict. to all of course, except for wuya, who used the domain to peacefully discuss her business, quell conflicts, or explore potential pacts. attempted violence within her domain is met with immediate punishment; often times in the form of a curse on the body or soul. depending on how grave the offense is. wuya is very powerful yes, but there are some who are stronger than she is. however if her domain goes up first it is quite difficult to muster the energy to summon your own. idk i have her on par in some regard with sukuna but, in her own way. violence kind of isn’t her thing anymore but. eh…
crow extensions. while wuya can make deals with local crows, and does use them to spy and watch others by exchanging info- wuya can also split parts of her own spirit off to form little crow familiars. these are literally parts of her, and she can see, hear, and speak through these. damaging them can harm her, but upon death, the piece of her soul put into each one simply returns to her.
reincarnation & her heavenly restriction. wuya is still technically immortal in this verse. but to escape her homeland, and her own punishment & execution ... wuya would flee and place a heavenly restriction upon herself ( as a divine being at the time, this was entirely within her power to do ). wuya would bind and seal her ability to access her divinity, preventing her from being a god. and in turn she is able to reincarnate within her own bloodline. this is done in a way to avoid forcing her own spirit onto anyone. her spirit is planted in the womb, and wuya is reborn. future reincarnations are aware that they are a reborn wuya, but not all memory carries over into the next life. so gaps are filled by documented accounts hidden away for her to find later on.
