The guys I like tend to be ✨ pretty ✨ and tall with long hair. And just like…gay ass looking people lmao. If you look at a girl and immediately go “yeah that’s a dyke” then I have a crush on her probably. Not necessarily femme or butch just Very Queer. On the inside: Silly and goofy, kind, artistic in some way, chaotic neutral morals. 

Some of my sims have specific types yeah lmao. Aja’s is verrrry broad as seen on the bachelorette. But the specific ones I can think of are:

Azul’s type: Tall, kinda mean afrolatina whose parents would hate him

Willow’s type:

Eden’s type:

Atticus’s type: Elegant and stately yet carefree women and/or feral, hot-tempered, alt guys with long hair and unresolved intimacy issues (which he will resolve)

hi sorry if this is a dumb question! but I really want to start a sim story and I loved bachelorette and dragula so I want to ask how do you decide what to keep in the story? do you ignore all the autonomous stuff and just go with a script or is it based on gameplay? thank you!!

This isn't dumb at all! I do write outlines for my stories, but I also play on high autonomy and have mods that make autonomy even MORE autonomous, and it's fun to include some of that in the story. So I'll shift things around if they do something I think really works. Here's some stuff that I did inspired by autonomy under a read more cut because I got carried away:

Ryan and Atticus's relationship was 100% all them.

Attica frequently being annoyed by Eden lmao I'm pretty sure the first impression sentiment was literally just Annoying 💀

Darion flirting with someone else while he was on Aja's date

Eden and Willow's relationship, including them hooking up when I was trying to do screenshots for the fashion challenge (but they both had Extremely Attractive sentiment to each other so it was kind of a no brainer)

The winners of Bachelorette and Dragula were partly autonomous because relationship scores played a role and I never controlled their social interactions so I literally had two epilogues outlined

most of the Dragula extermination challenges were based in part on autonomy (for example: Shock autonomously went for the cowplant, and Glitter autonomously went inside because she was scared)

It's honestly similar to the writing I experience irl because in the show I work even if it's your episode the showrunner can throw extra things in that have to happen and you just need to be able to pivot and figure out how to include them into the thing you were already writing. And the other writers throw things in too that you can either weave in or exclude.

This was a ramble lmao but I hope it answered your question?? Imo outlining your stories (whether it's scripts, novels, comics, sims, any type of narrative) is always gonna make them more structurally sound and you'll be able to plant things in advance to come back later in clever ways more easily, but sims have minds of their own and can make some interesting twists happen too.
