Good morning, everyone. This is Marley Rose coming to you from 104.3 FM, WMU radio. I do hope everyone had a fantastic night and are ready to hang out with me for the early morning. Filling in for James, I will be on for the next several hours, playing some of your favorites from the 80s, 90s and early 00. Yes, it's going to be a throwback kind of graveyard shift. While we wait for our next set of songs to queue up, I thought I'd fill you in on a few details about me. I am a sophomore here at WMU, majoring in Music Production.
While normally you'd find me working behind the scenes, making sure the show goes off without a hitch, I do love getting behind the mic now and then. So, with James coming down with a case of Mono - sorry James, there are no secrets in radio, I volunteered to keep you all company. While I have your attention - all four of you - just kidding. I know there has to be at least eight people listening, why don't you call in and keep me company. I'd love to hear about you and what kind of music you like. I personally have an eclectic taste in music, ranging from contemporary to indie to the occasional show tune. In fact, I tried out for my High School Glee Club singing, New York on my Mind.
Alright, now that we've gotten introductions are out of the way, get ready for an hour of non-stop music. Don't forget, call in with those requests otherwise you may just get a showtune or two.
