I changed the ending of my header from black rage to blackNESS.... I'm still pissed. As long as my people suffer at the hands of white supremacy, I will always be more than a little angry. But I think I've become significantly more adept at dealing with that anger both on my blog and irl. I realise now that my constant, bitter rage upon awakening to the cruel truth of the injustices imposed upon my race was a symptom of the immense pride I have in my people, in our many wonderful cultures, and our ability to survive and persevere, and continue to do great things in this world. I want that pride, more than the anger that comes with it, to come through in my blog.
