cup of tea: what is your favourite hot beverage? (For the Mad Queen)

Hot chocolate! She loves a hot chocolate before bed. She doesn’t have any marshmallows/cream or anything special with it. She likes to sit and savour it before putting her mug on her beside stand and bundling up in the blankets and usually talks to Oswald about her day while it cools enough for her to drink. C:

Thought of the day:

MQT loathes being startled or jumpscared. In fact, when this happens the magical wings she was gifted tend to sprout from her back and fan open in an attempt to look bigger. This can often knock things over and break them.

Usually after this kind of prank she will be very angry with you. But not forever.

Thought of the day:  MQT concentrating really hard to keep her hands cool so she can handle icy things like popsicles without them melting super quick.

Its okay! This is gonna be rather fun to answer :)03. What would be their favorite physical trait about themselves? 

When it comes to that, its rather hard. But I like to think she takes most pride in her hair. Long, soft and shiny and you’d often find her playing with it when she’s focused on something.  

04. What are their favorite traits about their lover? (one psychological and one physical)

Psychological: The ability to make her laugh. She’s always loved people who can make her laugh. Its one of her favourite ways to express herself, and Oswald isn’t beyond making her giggle on a regular basis. 

Physical: Height, she adores it when he’s taller than her, and having instances where she has to get on her tippy toes to give a kiss, or can be picked up and held. And being the occasional big spoon to someone taller is what she enjoys doing as well.

07. Is there a catchphrase or sound that they tend to make a lot (likely without being aware of it)?

That kind of “snrk” sound when someone is holding in a laugh, or what wheeze at the beginning of laughter. These sounds are far more common than any catchphrase she’d ever come up with. 

13. What are your character’s sleeping habits? Heavy or light sleeper? Blanket stealer? One that always rolls onto the floor? Pushes their lover onto the floor? Sleep talker or walker?

Heavy sleeper, she also tends to blanket burrito herself when on her own and feeling cold, but she isn’t a blanket stealer. And talking is rather rare, she doesn’t sleep walk. Most of the time, if it can be done, she usually finds herself nuzzled into the side of her partner, or with her head on their shoulder/chest. She’s very affectionate in bed if the other party allows it.

18. What kind of home would they want to live in? Where would they place this abode?

Big ol’ spooky castle. But if it ever came to living somewhere else, she’d probably enjoy a little house in the woods with a flowing stream and the sounds of nature.

20. Does your character like animals? What are some of their favorite animals? Would they want pets? What about mythological creatures?

Cats, cats cats cats, she LOVES cats. And she’d have a bunch if she really wanted to. But when it comes to cats, Zuzu, the griffon and her Panther Warclaw are very spoilt and well loved. Her other mounts are looked after too, but the cat like ones are her favourites.And if you’re clever enough to spot it, she sometimes roams under the effects of the endless cat tonic. See a black cat on the street you feel like you haven’t seen before? Be careful, as that might be the Mad Queen.

22. What kind of tattoos, piercings, birthmarks, freckles, and other such unique physical features do they have?

She has her destroyer arms from that one accident some time ago and a a scar on her waist from another incident. Oswald gave her the power to temporarily sprout wings from her back for when she needs them, but 90% of the time she keeps them hidden.I have debated giving MQT a tattoo, a little pumpkin one. But haven’t decided if I’m going to go ahead with that yet. 

38. What kind of weather does your character like? Cloudy skies, rainy days, sunshine, etc?

Rainy autumn days, she loves listening to rain and watching it fall with a blanket and a hot cup of cocoa. Listening to the rain helps her sleep when she struggles to.

39. When people look at your character, is there some assumption they might make about them just by appearance? Is that assumption correct?

Well, her outfit is inspired and similar to Oswalds, so I’d like to think people recognise and link her to halloween. And might think she’s a bit evil? Either way, she’s harmless. (mostly)

46. What is some random affectionate thing that your character always does to their lover?Very small gestures of affection. For example, if they’re sitting on their thrones together, she’s most likely to reach over and hold his hand, and gently rub her thumb against the back of his, not noticeable that much by others unless really paying attention, she’s not one for a lot of PDA. And other things like resting her head on him or giving a little nuzzle with her head. And maybe a little cheek peck when she thinks nobody is looking. But she’s not above sitting on his lap and basking on it like she’s in charge. 

47. Is your character outgoing? Would they be the leader of the friend group, or the quiet one that gets dragged along?

She’s pretty introverted but since she has been exposed to the royal life she’s become a little more accustomed to leading. Although this isn’t always the greatest idea, something stupid is bound to happen if things are more layed back. But if she had to take charge for the sake of the Mad Realm she’d make a formidable Queen and leader. She might not seem like it at first. But is able to step up to the plate. When it comes to friend groups, she doesn’t see herself as the leader. And would rather leave that to someone else unless people wanted her to lead. 

Stepping down and letting someone else take charge can be a breath of fresh air when she has time away from royal duties.I hope reading some of this has helped you guys understand her character a little more.
