💪 Headcanon for Sports

Nyx, while not well versed in many sports, he's highly skilled in Basketball. While short, his strength and agile body, makes him a basketball player's nightmare. He will often play with the local street kids whenever they need someone to level the teams out. He'll only play with them though if they keep quiet about him escaping his cell.

As hard as it is there's something so beautiful in being plural. Every version of me that's ever been lives frozen inside of me and my fellow parts can take my hand and tell me that it's okay, that I will be loved unconditionally one day, and I can meet the people who love the future versions of me. I call one of my parts my twin brother, and oh how he's grown, how both of us have grown, since the days we were 16 and doing our best to survive. I was fused with him for a while. It fell apart but I still remember how wonderful it was to be intertwined so closely with someone I love so much, and I can't wait to be together full time again. I can't find it in me to regret how so very special it can be to be able to fall in love with different aspects of myself over and over again.

Portrayal:

Nyx’s life hasn’t exactly been ideal. One of his earliest memories is of Galahd being attacked. Though he’ll always be thankful to King Regis for saving him then, and because of this is loyal to a fault to the Lucian King. Then there’s the memory of his sisters voice as they were attacked again, the loss of her, in order to protect their mother. It hurts him every day, and he’s sworn he’ll never let someone die again if he can help it. He joined the Kingsglaive when it was offered to him, not because he didn’t still want to run the bar with Libertus, and not because his home was gone, but because there was still enough of it left to protect.

He had his mother, niece and nephew to look after, he wasn’t going to let them down. He knew Selena would never forgive him if he did. So, he fights hard, protects his comrades, goes against orders when those orders tell him his friends’ lives aren’t worth it, and takes the penalty for his disobedience with grace.

The moniker of ‘Hero’ isn’t something he set out to achieve, but he’ll be damned if he doesn’t live up to now that he’s got it.

Pairings: LuNyx is a favorite, but Nyx is up for anything.

Nyx’s Verses

(Anything NOT tagged under one of these is probably just a general thing… or… created before I created these verses…)

Before the Fall - This is just anything in general in Nyx’s life before that fateful ‘Signing’.

Child Verse - This is anything that takes place while Nyx himself is a child, like the attack from Niflheim and any interactions with his family (mother, father, sister).

Bar Owner - This is for the time Nyx spent in Galahd, no longer a child, but a member of society, his owning a bar with Libertus among other things.

Young Glaive - This is everything that takes place as Nyx becomes a Glaive and the first few years as one.

Duty Sworn - This is everything that takes place in the movie Kingsglaive, and the beginnings of the FF15 game.

Alive after the Fall - In this verse Nyx survives after using the ring of the Lucii to defeat Drautos/Glauca. He lays in the ruble for a while, a length of time he doesn’t really know, maybe days, maybe just the one. Ravus finds him among the ruble and instead of killing him outright, takes him back with him and gets him healed up. The news that his little sister had made it out of the destruction of Insomnia was apparently welcome.

Once Nyx was up and about, he headed straight back to Insomnia to start eking it out again. He worked with other Glaives and random people who wanted their home back: unburying people, goods, and salvageable parts.

He, much like what happens with Ignis upon use of the ring, has some serious burn scars. His entire left arm from shoulder to finger tips, the left side of his face, down his neck and across his chest and back, are all mottled purple, blue, and white scaring from the burning of the ring, the right side of his face has a lightning strike likeness forking up it.

A New Dawn - This will be anything taking place after Noctis brings back the light. This may take place either after he’s dead, or if he survived.

A/B/O Verse - Nyx is an Alpha that everyone hates… because he tries to be everywhere at once, help everyone in any way he can… and he generally succeeds. He won’t pressure anyone into anything, unless he knows they want him too. He’s aggressive, but he’s not an asshole. If he didn’t reek of Alpha people would be hard-pressed to think he wasn’t a Beta. As an Alpha he smells like warm Pineapple Upside Down Cake. (If you don’t know what that smells like, 1 I pity you, 2 I really can’t explain it.)

A Glaive of Omegas / (au: a glaive of omegas) - An Omega only for the ‘Glaive of Omegas’ verse. (Because that’s adorable. Not actually a member of the group AU though… because there are like 5 Nyxs and that seemed like a lot. lol) As an Omega Nyx smells of lemons and fresh cut grass.

Werewolf AU - (In my head this is set up where the Glaives are a pack… so the actual dynamic there, with Drautos being Captain, and Luche and Nyx being seconds and third, applies to the pack. So, Drautos is Alpha (obviously), and Nyx would be a Beta.)

Assassin’s Creed Verse - Nyx is a modern day Assassin, simply trying to right wrongs he sees being committed when not doing something specific for the Order.

Sweetest Taste Verse - Nyx is a Pastry Chef, he runs a bakery called Sweetest Taste in Galahd along with his best friend Libertus and two other good friends Pelna and Crowe. Now they are opening a new store in Tenebrae and Nyx is sent to start it up, bringing Crowe along with him to help smooth the way and hire people they think will work best. Hopefully they’ll make as big a splash in Tenebrae as they did in Galahd.

Pokemon AU - Nyx Ulric is a Pokemon Ranger from Almia who has decided he wants to compete in the Pokemon League. He is currently wandering around Sinnoh gathering more pokemon and battling gyms for badges, he’s obtained three badges already.
