Headcannons - My Operator

He doesn’t remember his name, so everyone calls him “Puck” - a reference to how quickly he bonded with Oberon.

Genuinely likes Ordis.

Like me, Puck is hypersensitive to visual and audio stimuli. It got worse after years in the dark of the Void, though.

After TWW and Puck fully embraced his Void powers, everything became too much for him. So Loki and Oberon crafted a blinder and ear pieces for him to help dampen the over-stimulation.

The first time he used Oberon out in the field, he sneezed and cast Hallowed Ground farther than he ever had previously and ever would again.

Thinks Eidolons are the coolest things ever.

The largest tank in his room is filled with a couple of sharracs and a charc eel named Alad VI.

Speaks to animals like they’re adult people (he doesn’t baby-talk them).

Liked the New Loka faction a lot until they got petulant over the origin of the Silver Grove. Now they annoy him.

Introduction: Puck

Hi, my name is Puck. I'm a genderqueer demiboi who uses both they/them pronouns and he/him. I'm 26 years old, I'm a fantasy fiction writer currently studying German and planning to go to grad school for library sciences in the near future.

I'm an anti-theist with a background in the Christian reformed church, so religion can be a touchy subject for me even without factoring in my queerness and non monogamous lifestyle.

I have identified as poly for nearly 5 years now, but have only been actively practicing polyamory for less than a year, as I was previously in and out of relationships with people who wanted to be monogamous.

Bacc, Morrigan, and Andhrimnir are my partners. Bacc has been my best friend for 7 years and is engaged to Mor(Bacc introduced Mor and I). Andhrimnir is my newest partner, but no less wonderful for it.

I consider myself poly saturated at the moment. In addition to my 3 partners I have a few close friends who are very important to me and fall within some definition of partners, though I'm not necessarily romantically and/or sexually involved with them.

I'm an introvert who suffers from clinical depression and anxiety. My introversion and mental illness require me to work hard at keeping a balance between work, my social life, and my partners. While it is challenging, it is not impossible and I get better at taking care of myself and knowing my limits every day, with the help of all of the wonderful people in my life.

I am also a masochist and a submissive, which I mention not because I plan on writing about sexually explicit subjects, but because it is an integral part of who I am and was a huge factor in deciding to pursue a polyamorous lifestyle for me. It is definitely going to come up in some of the stories that I share.

I'm really excited about this blog because I love writing and have been journaling a lot lately, especially about why I feel that my current relationships are good for me and much healthier than my past relationships. Also, while I know quite a few poly people in my life, I am an introvert who loves connecting with people through online communities and I really look forward to getting to know more members of the poly community who might not be so geographically close to me.
