Tari's personal quests in any game she's a companion would be you helping her deal with her feelings about loosing all of her siblings save for Ruusan (and also her relationship with a Revan or Revan-like person in the setting)

if it's Ruusan, it's them getting into Trouble and asking you to help find Tari. no it's not because of getting into Trouble, they can deal with that themself! (...but Tari's help would be appreciated, just please don't tell her she'll never let me live it down)

in terms of appearance, Tari prefers the non-human. by contrast, Ruusan prefers to look as human as possible. they each could look like the other, but they only do so if they feel it is absolutely necessary

a note on pronouns:

Tari uses she/her not because she's a girl but entirely because she just doesn't care enough to request otherwise and at this point it's become comfortable and familiar. is she a girl? fuck no, but there's no point in wasting the energy in pushing back against how she's perceived when it could be better spent elsewhere

Ruusan uses they/them because they're very particular about how their gender is perceived. both were raised as Mandalorians, but where Tari can't quite seem to wrap her head around why it matters, Ruusan understands and refuses to let themself be placed in a box they don't want to be placed in

Revan and Ruusan would be absolutely terrible if they ever met because Revan would encourage and enable some of Ruusan's worst behavior -- which isn't surprising because she does it for Tari too, the difference is that Tari is fundamentally a kind person, even if she might be a bit apathetic at times, where Ruusan just doesn't care most of the time. and even when they do care, it's with an interest in how it affects them and little to none for others. it's an aloof and coldness mixed with apathy rather than a distaste for others that Tari just doesn't have unless it's the Worst Timeline

on top of that, there's the matter of stubborness. Tari is stubborn to a fault -- if she doesn't want to do something, there's almost nothing you can do to make her do it. Ruusan's apathy, however, makes them a lot more willing to follow orders

but Revan -- especially if she's aligned with the Sith -- would find Ruusan's general personality quite appealing and actively foster it, because it means Ruusan won't make a fuss if they're asked to do something that will negatively affect others. so long as Ruusan gets what they want (protection, mostly, the ability to keep themself and those they deem important safe) then it's very unlikely they'll put in the effort to care. Tari might be an absolute menace, but she tries not to actively harm others

to make a distinction between Ruusan and Tari, I will now be using they/them for Ruusan. Tari will remain she/her. both twins have no concept of gender as they grew up Mandalorian and the distinction between men and women doesn't matter

the twins are opposites -- where Tari is anxiety riddled, Ruusan is confident. Tari is quiet (usually) and Ruusan is...loud, but no necessarily in volume kind of way. Ruusan loves to fight and Tari avoids them (not because she isn't confident in her abilities, when in a fight she's great and loves doing it, but in her opinion avoiding a fight saves a lot of time and effort and she'd argue it's just her pragmatism showing). where Tari loves secrets and won't tell them unless you exchange one in return, preferring subtly and being able to get in and out of places she shouldn't without anyone noticing, Ruusan prefers a more straightforward approach. Tari is bright and cheerful (or at least she tries to be), Ruusan is standoffish, aloof and quite cold

and I suppose if we're gonna go down the trope road -- most people might assume that Tari is the sun, as she tries to be bright and cheerful, in truth it's Ruusan. she's bold and brash and want to be the center of attention. Tari is the moon, quiet, quick and subtle. Ruusan draws the attention away from Tari, which Tari finds deep relief in (yet in a summer/winter dynamic, Tari is summer and Ruusan is winter)

Tari’s children: --Cabur (adopted and named for their protectiveness of their adopted mother) --Udelsa (also known as Algae, named for the twins cousin who died)

Ruusan’s: --Parja (also known as Eris)

Honestly, Ruusan is probably the older twin. She is fiercely protective of Tari----to the point that she will risk her own life for Tari’s. Tari is genuinely shocked by this. And probably a little bit worried for her twin. Of course, Ruusan is only as protective of Tari because she’s worried.

The fact that Ruusan is now 4′5 along with Tari is just great. She’s tiny, angry but also apathetic and will fight you.
