Once a royal mage/necromancer that died from their own hubris, when the very beings they bring from the death and sought to command turned against them.
Their body and soul corrupted by the forces they had sought to control. Their essence lingered for a long time in the abyss, not allowed to die nor to live. Until they find a way to be reborn into a new being
Some memories get lost in their metamorphosis, but they are fine with that. They got a second chance and they are not gonna squander it away.
Random fun facts about Sam
They have a sweet tooth
They do not like chocolate, unless it's chocolate milk.
Pink is their favorite color
They like big sticks and collect random sticks
Their useless talent is their ability to draw a perfect circle
They don't like fighting unless it is just some play fights with those that they know well enough
Their magic is corrupted, making it a lot weaker than it is supposed to be.
Their glasses is actually a part of them/their magic
Their pupil color is bright pink, like their soul
Sam's Attacks and magic
On point (Stick attack)
Sam will try to disarm you as quickly as possible, if that happens then no one wins, Sam will quickly run away as you try to arm your self again. Attack their blind spot
Need a Hand? (giant hand summon)
Sam will summon 2 to 3 giant hands and use them as a shield and as an attack, do not get cornered as you will need space to dodge, last their attack and tire Sam out, they will then de-summon the giant hands as it takes a lot of energy to control
Big trouble (Giant Morph)
Push Sam too far and they will morph into a giant, be careful! they are surprisingly fast even with this size, attack their weak points (chest and eyes) to quickly tire them out, after they turn back into their normal self, you will get 1 free turn to attack as they are to tired to do anything
Aim for the Head (Sigil Timer)
Sam final attack and their last effort in ending the fight. In 5 turn Sam will draw a sigil, and in 3 turn that sigil will activate. do NOT let it activate or you will die, quickly kill them before they kill you.

About Jolinar and Sam's dynamic
They find a willing host, but Samantha had grown well accustomed to Jolinar's presence and began to care about her, so their blending becomes permanent.
However, they did not get along at first. Hell no.
Sam was fucking pissed as hell at Jolinar for threatening Cassidy's life and for disrupting everything in her life in general.
Dr. Frasier never forgave Jolinar for that either.
The two argued a lot: sometimes outwardly, sometimes inwardly. It scared the shit out of everyone at first and then it became annoying
General Hammond grew so accustomed to Jolinar and Sam's bickering that he could easily tell when it happened inwardly. He would snap his fingers in front of Sam's body and tell them to stop arguing.
SG-1 and everyone else noticed, too. Especially the Tok'ra.
Eventually, Jacob joined the Tok'ra as well, and became host to Selmak, who often kept Jolinar in line.
"She was like this with Rosha, too." They would explain to her, much to Jolinar's chagrin
Samantha and Jolinar are both introverts, but when it comes down to it, Sam is the more personable one. It shows.
Jolinar is more like Zuko in terms of social interaction, but she tries her best.
It usually bores Jolinar out of her mind watching Sam do her astrophysics simulations, though seeing the simulations themselves are interesting.
Jolinar is much more sporty and prefers to work on target practice as a past time activity. Compared to Sam, her previous hosts had been a lot more physically active. She is greatly disappointed by this.
She teaches Sam how to fight like a Goa'uld and sometimes Jack would join in when he was bored.
I like the headcanon that Sam is aro-spec, so when it comes to Martouf and Lantash, it's only Jolinar who is in a relationship with them. However, Sam still considers them both to be her closest friends outside of SG-1.
Sam still has feelings for Jack though, to which they agreed that she'd be the only one with him if it came down to it.
