It’s fun when the introject (or in our case, pseudo-introject) of a RL person meets their source. We managed to weird out one of our partners last night when Teal, our shapeshifting takes-on-the-form-of-whoever-is-the-most-important-person-in-our-life alter, fronted, and talked to our partner as.... uh, themselves. Like, Teal mimicked their cadence, intonation, speech patterns, and even vocal quality scarily well. It was kind of amusing to watch it all happen.
