I like void. The absence of color. No light. No heat. No noise. Infinite potential. It starts with nothing so it can become anything. A blank canvas. An unwritten poem. The silence before a song. The sound of space. The color of nothing. Void. Void!

Staying safe during astral travel
So I saw this post the other day about how to shut down your witchcraft when it gets to be too much. It talked about making sure not to panic, to stay calm and close down your ritual or spell, close portals, dismiss entities, thank and dismiss elements and close your circle. All very important stuff. But it got me thinking about another situation: astral travel. What happens if your astral body is attacked or gets trapped? Or what if you just get spooked and want to go home? What if the doorbell rings and breaks your meditation? It's very important to consciously and deliberately travel back to your physical body. Make sure you haven't left any parts of your astral body behind where you were traveling. If you feel a part of you missing as you hover over your physical body, go back to where you were and get it. I like to accomplish this by walking back into the area I was in and deliberately and carefully walking back out, making sure no body parts get caught on the closing door. If it's not safe to travel back to where you were because you were attacked or just felt unsafe, you can cycle your energy through your body a couple of times and this will call your body part back to you. It's a little uncomfortable but it gets the job done. Also make sure nothing is stuck to your astral body before jumping back into your physical body, or you could be inviting something in! Resettle slowly into your physical body. Keep your eyes closed if they were before. Cycle your energy again and feel it flow through your soul as well as your physical body. Re-ground yourself. Then lower any special wards you put up for astral travel (which you should always do even though I sometimes forget) and open your eyes. If you're prone to dizziness, get up slowly.
Did my first sigil today! It was good!!
The witches keep telling me to read about Solomon because he supposedly practiced witchcraft "and that makes it okay" but guess what:
"But King Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites— from the nations of whom the Lord had said to the children of Israel, “You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods.” Solomon clung to these in love. And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart. For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord , and did not fully follow the Lord , as did his father David. Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the hill that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the people of Ammon. And he did likewise for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods. So the Lord became angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned from the Lord God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice, and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods; but he did not keep what the Lord had commanded. Therefore the Lord said to Solomon, “Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant."
I Kings 11:1-11 NKJV
Yes, Solomon did fall for other gods. It's not mentioned what exact acts of witchcraft he participated in besides making the altars and offerings to these other gods, but it can be safely assumed that he would have engaged in forms of witchcraft in servitude to these gods. Nevertheless, because he worshipped other gods and engaged in their customs, his kingdom was torn from him. God warned him about this, but he did it anyway and lost everything.
Checkmate.
@scuffed-tarot, who plastered all this drivel and then blocked me:
I don’t recall asking your stupid ass which clearly didn’t read about how priests practiced magic.
How the fuck have you never read about medieval christianity or how the heresies were first disagreements
I dare you to go back to the medieval period and tell the bishops who thought mezuzot had magical properties that they’re Not Real Christians.
So your reasoning why witchcraft is okay in Christianity is priests in Medieval times, doing exactly that, going against the Bible and practicing witchcraft?
Did you expect me to look at this and go “Hmmm gee, these guys who called themselves Christians 700 years ago practiced witchcraft even though the bible said not to so I guess it’s okay”?
If you’re changing the rules of Christianity to make it allow what you want it to, throwing away what is written, how can you say you’re putting God first and seeking Him when it’s all about you and your desires?
To expect that following God is to get everything you want and do whatever you want with no sacrifice or consequence, is like a kid demanding their parent to only feed them ice cream and candy for all their meals.
People tell the kid “you need to eat your veggies. Eating nothing but candy is going to make you very sick”, and they scream and cry, “You’re being mean! You hate me! It’s my life and you can’t possibly know what’s good for me! All I know is it tastes good and I feel good right now!”.
