What are the ROs love languages?

hmm I would say:

How's is definitely gift giving. He's really bad at voicing his real feelings, so he'll hand off random equipment, game, things he's noticed your MC is missing, just to be nice. But your MC will not be able to thank him verbally- he won't stand for it, he's just doing something anyone would do, he swears. How will also give things that reminds him of your MC, so it's not all entirely necessity-based.

When it comes to receiving love, I think How is really receptive to physical affection- like a hug, combing back his hair with MC's hands, etc. He freezes up with hearing affection verbally, but he'll still appreciate it. He also appreciates acts of service, even though he will still think your MC doesn't have to do all that.

Dylan is probably between physical touch and quality time. I mean I see her as being obsessed with physical touch- around your MC she's constantly cuddling and touching and just being very physically present- but she will always remind your MC how much she is there for them. Dylan feels lonely, so she's a bit clingy as a result.

Receiving love- Dylan can't handle gifts very well. Living in the PAA settlement makes her feel embarrassed to accept things (when she has SO many things at her access), so she would rather not. Dylan loves if your MC returns phys. affection and spends lots of quality time with her, since she rarely gets to see them.

Gloor's is definitely words of affirmation. He will constantly write sweet notes for your MC: things ranging from how beautiful he finds them to how much he loves being around them. He is so grateful that your MC is taking a chance on him, he cannot help but write long letters of adoration.

When it comes to receiving, Gloor LOVES physical affection. No one will ever touch him, not after he got infected, so it's been a really long time since someone has touched him without being scared. So to be touched with affection is absolutely his soft spot. He gets shy around words of affirmation or acts of service, but he will appreciate it too.

Alia's love language is probably acts of service. She's genuinely quite knowledgeable and loves to help out others, so if your MC needs help- she's there to do everything she can. Need someone to make you a cup of tea and tuck you into bed when you're ill? Alia will do it gladly.

Alia loves receiving gifts and words of affirmation. Unfortunately for her, no one has been there for her like that- people tend to find her a bit weird. So if your MC is truly into her nerdy hobbies, and into giving her support for it, Alia will be so thankful. She will feel seen.

Tell me about the difference between the roots and also will be there status menu like skills and attributes

By roots, if you mean paths (I'm assuming! Please correct me if you meant something else.), here's a little outline that's more in depth.

The City Scavenger path is mostly about traveling to the more metropolitan parts of San Francisco and uncovering information about the pathogen that's taken over the world. MC can find lots of useful items for later on, but the city is roaming with zombies, so they must be exceedingly more careful. This path can be accompanied by either How, who's already very well acquainted with the city, or Alia, but she needs to be convinced to leave her cozy cabin.

The Video Tapes path is all about finding out about the previous owner of your Kombi/minibus. This is more like a side-quest of sorts, but it adds a lot of important background to the story and why it was abandoned in the first place. So far I've planned about three out of eight possible videos.

The Local Settlement path is about learning more on the closest PAA Settlement, located deeper in the woods. The PAA Settlement is fairly well-known, due to their outstanding allocation of resources, and their generosity, but the leaders are very, very selective on who they allow into their numbers, and how they got these resources is relatively unknown. Dylan lives within this settlement, and you can find out more about the PAA and your conspiracy theories with her. Alternatively, Gloor may know some things.

Sorry if this sounds quite vague! I do want to share more but I also don't want to spoil anything.

Each path is playable by MC, but your choices will affect the ending you can get.

Also, in terms of attributes, MC has hunger, love, friendship, animosity, and morale variables, all of which affect their standing within the story. In terms of skills, so far I have hunting, but I plan to include sneaking around/theft, and conviction. I'm working on a status menu and debating on letting players pick some stats at the beginning as well.
