They've been watching Theodora anguish for the past hour and a half, forehead pressed against the dark wood and hair splayed out like tentacles. In the center of the table a wooden figurine that's split in two lies dead. "Find it in yourself to relax." They swirl the last finger of brandy in their little glass. "You're stressing yourself out over an impossible future." "I broke it," she moans, not lifting her head. "He's going to think I'm worthless." In the following silence Celestin wonders if it's better to withhold evidence, just to make the lesson she's learning now stick. With the way they hear her voice waver it doesn't seem worth it. "You're more than fine," they assure. "You don't hear how he talks about you when you're not there."

It's easy to rely on Celestin's steadfastness when pirate life provides chaos at every corner. Though you'll often run the risk of being seen, it's a comfort knowing that there's at least one aspect of your life on the ship won't crumble.

Personality: Unflappable, patient, and very smug. Celestin often looks like the cat that got the cream when watching other people interact, enjoying their interactions before providing their own commentary.

Appearance: Short, tousled brown hair and a gaze that makes you feel like you'd be remembered. Celestin aesthetic falls second to practicality, though one might argue that the care they put into their accessories is evidence against them not caring at all.

Celestin is 34, genderqueer, and must be romanced in a triangle poly with Lovell.

long time no update! this one is incredibly small, I'm sorry to say. Mainly because it's the initial release of the port to twine. You'll have to forgive me for any errors both on the itch.io page and the game itself. No fancy looks or graphics yet. That'll come either after I finish porting or decide I need a break from looking at the same thing over and over lol.

So the last ask about MC and Sheo made me wonder about the MC's looks. I didn't know that smilarities with other characters would effect the narrative and others. Can they react to MC's looks?

React in one way? Havard reacts to MC eye color, or most of them. Almost everyone reacts in some way to the heritage features which naturally take some sort of precedence since those affect practical things.

If you mean mean things like hair color etc... No in any unique way as you can input whatever you want. But in a general manner? Probably.

Hi I've got a question about the mc mental state, other than self harm which one of the mc coping mechanisms worry havard and lexia the most?

Weirdly enough I think anger would worry them the least, its probably the most understandable and maybe even the healthiest response.

I think in terms of numbers, I only made a difference for self harm vs. others.

But realistically, I think madness, numbness/escape from reality/avoidance and then anger. In order of most to least worrying. All are of course worrying.

Been thinking about titles the mc could get if they become famous warrior in the future, the one that sticks out to me is "scion of the silver protector" cause the mc is everything silver protector stand for, the innocent that's to be protected and growing up to become a silver protector to protect others from the same fate.

I also have a quick question, when the mc was thinking about how clear his skin looked, he mentioned his skin being in a "tiny bit of pain but basically nothing" so by normal people standards the mc body was aching from head to toe? But the mc developed a high pain tolerance so it didn't register?

And you are free to interpret MC "basically nothing" however you wish :D But yes, MC has a high pain tolerance.
