CISMALE, HE/HIM. Hey, is that KELLAN LUTZ? No, that’s just ADAM MERCER around Cypress Cove. I heard they are 39 years old, and their birthday is APRIL 30, 1986. They rest their head on IVERMERE ISLE, but can mainly be found working as the OPERATIONS MANAGER of NEW HARBOR RECOVERY. Some say they are CHARISMATIC, CHARMING, and CONFIDENT and can be RECKLESS, IMPULSIVE, and SECRETIVE. If they had a theme song it would be “WAY DOWN WE GO” by KALEO. I hear they are a RETURNING NATIVE, but either way Cypress Cove is home and welcomes you.

BIOGRAPHY
Adam Mercer grew up in Cypress Cove, the kind of kid everyone noticed early on. Tall, charming, and quick with a smile that could disarm even the most skeptical neighbors, he always seemed destined for something bigger than the quiet coastal town he grew up in. As the middle child between an older brother and a younger sister, Adam spent much of his childhood balancing attention, expectations, and his natural talent for talking his way into or out of almost anything.
At eighteen he left town with ambition in his pocket and dreams that stretched far beyond the shoreline. Adam eventually built a successful career in the modeling industry, rising quickly through the ranks as a charismatic and well-connected agent. He knew how to sell an image, how to read people, and how to charm a room in seconds, skills that made him incredibly effective in an industry built on perception. But success came with shadows.
A scandal involving accusations of lewd conduct ended his career abruptly. The same industry that once celebrated him turned cold overnight, and Adam found himself pushed out of the life he had spent years building. With few options left and his reputation damaged, he returned to Cypress Cove, a place that had stayed almost exactly the same while his own life had completely unraveled. Back home, Adam tried to find his footing again. His natural charisma still opened doors locally, reconnecting with old friends, and rebuilding relationships he had left behind years earlier.
One of those connections led him to Cartel, the owner of New Harbor Recovery, a rehabilitation and wellness center focused on helping people rebuild their lives. Their relationship quickly grew deeper and more complex, built on trust, intensity, and an understanding of each other’s darker edges. Cartel eventually placed Adam in charge of managing many of the center’s daily operations, trusting his ability to read people and maintain order in a place where emotions often run high.
Adam has always had a certain kind of influence over people. He knows how to hold a room, how to push when someone needs it, how to break through someone’s walls when they’re determined to keep them up. For years, that talent served him in industries built on image, persuasion, and control. Now he’s learning to use it differently.
At New Harbor Recovery, that same commanding presence sometimes becomes the thing that keeps someone from walking out the door when recovery starts getting hard. Adam can be firm, unflinching, even intimidating when he needs to be. But more often than not, the people there see something else beneath it: someone who understands how easy it is to lose control of your life. Adam Mercer still carries a darker side. He’s never pretended otherwise. But these days, he’s trying to aim that part of himself somewhere useful. Most of the time, anyway.
