★ Our muses get stuck in an abandoned building
Regina was much too overconfident, no matter what Robin tried to tell her. They had to go in this cottage, she insisted. The villains were hiding here. Robin tried to tell her it was an abandoned building. There was no secret hideaway for villains and abandoned buildings were dangerous.
She took his hand and led him further inside. There were cobwebs everywhere, fallen doors, broken pieces of walls in their path. It was dark, and even the light of the sun couldn’t reach this far down the corridors.
She took a step and suddenly the floor caved in beneath them. They both fell in a heap down below ground. It seemed it was a basement - but there were no doors to go up to the surface level.
“Robin,” she said softly. “I’m so sorry. Are you alright?” She tried to stand, but she collapsed on her own weight, her ankle throbbing. She cursed under her breath. “I think I sprained my ankle, damn it. And we’re trapped. Now what to do we do?” It was dark, dirty, cold, and rather frightening down there, but at least they had each other.
