Dearest tumblr friends,

I don’t know if you remember me, as it’s been two years since I lost my Regina muse and since I’ve been able to write as this character. I break my silence today in tribute to one of our friends here. My fellow Regina roleplayer and friend, @reginaqueenmills passed away last month suddenly. 

 I met her at a convention and she was surprised that I was a roleplayer, especially one that she’d written with for a long time. She was a gentle soul and talented artist. We connected over our love of Once Upon a Time, Star Trek, dolls, and bunnies. 

I thought you, her tumblr friends and fellow writers, should know.

Hello

I haven’t posted here in forever. I think it’s safe to say this blog is on hiatus. I may come back. I want to come back. Maybe finishing the series would help get my muse back. 

But I quit OUAT in January when I found new inspiration and new love. OUAT wasn’t good for my mental health so I had to take steps to protect myself - my mental health, myself, and my heart.

I’m sorry for stories left unfinished. Perhaps one day we can write together again. You’ve all been so wonderful. My Regina muse was so strong for years and I will always cherish these stories and moments we’ve shared together.

Beginning Something New: Roni/Regina

So, this is actually a larger piece that’s cropped with several layers taken off to hide kind of a big reveal but here’s an example of how I start a painting with a focal character. There’s more to come but I also have a book to complete so be patient…I think it will be worth the wait.

Day 7: Free Day - Lana & Jared behind the scenes (in & out of character)

"Perhaps we should get out of here then," she said. "Out of this kingdom. Perhaps there's a ship to sail us to a different land. We could start fresh, and we wouldn't have to run. Or are we meant to run forever?" 

Regina nodded. They were stuck here for now. "Do you really have to go out there? Couldn't someone else... I just found you...now I have to sleep alone?" She knew it wasn't good to whine but she truly couldn't imagine spending the night alone.

His words made her smile. "I sometimes wish we could go back to that time, and that we could have explored these feelings back during that missing year. But I suppose...as we said, it's all about timing. I picked on you because I like you, just as you gave it right back." 

She kissed him slowly, softly. There really was no need to rush, but at the same time, she wanted to make up for lost time. His words of love went straight to her heart, and earned him more kisses.

"I think...that sounds like a wonderful idea. I think I'll sleep better in your arms."

Regina chuckled. "I do, I admit. I never have enjoyed being a queen more than now. Before it was a job, a duty. Now it's a pleasure. Especially when you so lovingly call me your queen. Yours. Now it feels like something honorable. What about when I call you thief? My thief. The thief who stole my heart?" 

She knew they'd be happy wherever they were - whether here or at the castle. But she did have a duty. This - though she had been injured - felt like a holiday away from her duties. She had to get back. "I know," she said. "Nonetheless, we must go back." 

"A bed, you say? Oh I have a quite the bed for you. For sure." She smirked again and leaned in for another kiss.

Rebecca: I just said “don’t swallow until the questions finished.” Did it again. “Hi I’m Rebecca Mader and I don’t learn my own lessons. Pleasure to meet you all.”

Missing Memories 

Regina chuckled. “Trouble with me would be acceptable,” she said. “If I know what you mean.” And she was certain that she did. “But don’t you worry about the rest. I’ll take care of everything.” She kissed him. “I love you, so so much.”

          Gathering up her hand he plays with her fingers as she leans in for a kiss that he happily returns. “And I you.” Mindful of where her hurt ankle lays he tucks up close to her and settles his hand at her hip to rub firmly as he rests his forehead to hers. After sharing a few slow deep breaths he leans in catching her lips lightly then again before lingering a breath apart. “Kiss me – your majesty.”

“If you insist, thief,” she grinned, and kissed him. “I love it when you call me that. Suddenly I enjoy being queen, when you call me your majesty so lovingly, so adoringly.” 

After another kiss, she continued, “I can’t wait to show you your new life, show you your new home. You will love it there.”

“I can’t help but be curious, Robin,” she chuckled. Regina reluctantly agreed. “Forgive me. I like to know my fate. But you’re right - we should just enjoy each other.” 

Regina leaned in for another kiss. “I like the sound of that. But we should also rest. We as in both of us. Not just me, Robin. You need to rest too. Don’t worry, we’ll be safe here. No one’s ever found where I live.”

“I suppose all that matters is that we ended up together and the time is right? Like now? I feel the time is right…right now.”

She grinned. “Irresistible,” she said. “It’s probably because I’m still not used to having the one I love so close. And I love you, even when I’m dreaming. I think I even dream of loving you, of being close to you. This love consumes all of my thoughts, all of my dreams.”

         It’s been so rare that they have had a chance to talk to each other like this that he can’t help but smile, and be thankful that they’re getting some time to just be themselves for once. He’s missed these quiet moments where they can sit together and just let themselves enjoy being in love. 

          “I’m not at all surprised that we feel so similarly. The love that we share fills my thoughts, and I long for you when we’re apart.” Robin smiles lopsidedly, “We are here now.” His fingers lace through hers and he brings them in to press a kiss to the back of her hand then draws their hands off to the side as he leans down to kiss her properly.

She couldn’t help but smile at his words. “Then let’s never be apart. Because I long for you too. I love that we can talk about anything and everything. I love that you know me better than anyone, and never judge me for the things I’ve done.”

Regina nodded. “We’re here now. So let’s take advantage of this moment.” She  kissed him back. “I’ve never loved anyone so much.”

I love how my computer broke as soon as I got back from OUATCHI. Now it’s fixed. Yay. So now I can catch up on life, and write.
