Annis ar Kattrin originally joined up with the Inquisition because he would often see the Lady’s Watchful Eye in his journeys through the Fade, and when he started seeing the Inquisition logo all over the place in the waking world he was like “!!!!”

imagine his disappointment when he finds out the first Inquisition had completely yoinked the symbol for themselves and no one even realised what it was actually supposed to be lmao

Rashvine :: Who/what is the one thing or person your character simply cannot stand?

Wastefulness. Anyone that is excessive in their consumption, discards more than they consume, or is miserly (which is a waste in his eyes because currency should be used well, not hoarded) will annoy Annis to no end.

As far as a specific person… Roderick. He runs into him in Haven (which is pretty much how he finds out about the nascent Inquisition) and is just thoroughly disgusted by him and everything he stands for. In general, Annis doesn’t care much for the Chantry, because every Chantry-aligned person he comes across seems to be cut from the same judgemental, xenophobic cloth.

Arbor Blessing :: What is the happiest ending you can think of for your character?

He reunites with Alistair (whom he’d set out from the Frostbacks to find, accidentally getting caught up in all of Thedas’ fuckshit in the process). Their relationship is different now, but they still care about each other, and Annis’ mind is eased (he’d feared for his boyhood companion). He and Hiberna (another OC) have cute chubby twins and raise them in southwest Ferelden, on a homestead they’ll inherit. He and Hiberna still encounter Solas sometimes, in the Fade. Annis dies, old, hoary, and content, in his sleep, fadeshifting into the avatar of Sigfrost for the last time (he remains as the Great Bear in the Fade).
