There is a beautiful crystal bottle of Orlesian perfume waiting on the desk for Cauthrien. It's finely crafted and filled with a pale amber liquid that smells faintly of delicate flowers. A note written in stiff stilted writing is attached to the cap. "Even a dog likes to smell pretty now and again." If the soldier decides to break it or jostle it violently it will turn into a potent stink bomb, if she treats it well and uses it as recommended it remains a fine perfume.

Cauthrien notices the small bottle with some understandable about of caution. She is well beyond physical acts of annoyance. This enemy is an unknown quantity and Cauthrien is a cautious and distrustful person in general.

She leaves the bottle exactly where it is for some time, gauging whether or not it will blow up on its own. When that fails she pokes it very gently with the tip of a sword. When that produces no results, she at last, tentatively picks it up and examines it more closely.

The Orlesian menace is thoroughly wrong, Cauthrien could not care less what she smelled like and she certainly didn’t want to smell Orlesian.

However, before she throws it away, a thought comes to mind. It is a bit of an evil thought, though is rooted in practicality. If she has no use for it, then why let it go to waste? 

The next time Loghain meets with Arl Eamon, Cauthrien casually gives him the bottle. 

“I think your wife would appreciate it more than I.”

When she later learns that something stunk out the rooms of the Arl and Arlessa of Redcliffe, Cauthrien finds herself feeling a small amount of warmth for the small Assassin.

Sloane:

Mass destruction. He goes out when it gets dark and frightens all those that wonder alone in the dark and creates chaos — he sets real monsters loose on the world. 

Kai:

Kai tends to stay home waiting for the trick-or-treaters to come whilst she watches a horror marathon either by herself or with someone she’s close too. 

Noah:

Noah goes out partying with anyone he can find — it’s his goal to get laid by as many types of ‘creatures’ as he can by the end of the night from slutty nurse to full blown banshee.

Skylar:

Skylar hates Halloween. It freaks her out beyond words. She turns off all of the lights except the lamp in her bedroom and stays in her room watching rom-coms or just plain comedies. Something light and fluffy to take her mind of what’s going on outside.
