You’re blunt. You’re outspoken. Frankly, you’re kind of a jerk. But you get away with it because you’re usually right and also because you’re indispensable to the major plot. But honestly? It’s going to come back to haunt you. One of these days, you’re going to be TOO honest. You’re going to refuse to lie at a critical juncture, upholding your honorable caustic truthfulness, and you’re going to pay the ultimate price for it.

DOB: ~1450
Height: 6′2″
Sire: Vlad Dracula Tepes
Occupation: Devil Forgemaster (one of only two)
Bio: There arises in Wallachia a cult—though at first it is merely a group of loyal followers—of the lord of darkness, the man-not-man known as Dracula, son of the dragon. Once Mathias Cronqvist, the undead lord of the shadowy lands of Wallachia knows not that name, nor anything but rage and sorrow. In his lust for power, he garners followers, chief among these, a coven of witches. One among them, a woman named Lisbet LaForeze, catches the eye of the dark lord himself and with her, he sires a child:
That child is Isaac.
It is because of her faith that she survives not only this birth, but that of her daughter, several years later. She needs a girlchild to pass on her arts; the boy, she gives to Castlevania, to be trained up alongside a boy of a similar age, known only as Hector. Neither boy knows his true parentage.
Under the tutelage of the dark lord himself, along with various dark priests and worshipers, the lads learn to control, harness, and put their powers to use, populating Castlevania with the most powerful, vicious, evil creatures outside hell itself. Isaac takes great pride in his power; it is the only agency and life he’s ever known. Hector fears his and for this, he is mocked.
Years later, when Trevor Belmont defeats their lord, the two are left destitute, but Isaac clings to the old ways. Hector betrays him and leaves and it is then that Isaac reestablishes contact with his witch sister, Julia.
“Go, sister... seduce Hector, then I shall spread rumors she is a witch; she will burn and he will seek me out and together, we will reclaim what is ours.”
[Thus begin the events of Curse of Darkness]
Appearance: Tall and shapely, with hair as red as fire and bright amber eyes, Isaac would be quite comely if not for his various tattoos (conduits for dark power), and his penchant for leather and chains. Still, he comes across as something of an incubus, regardless of how society at the time might view one such as he.
Personality: Outwardly ambitious and ruthless, Isaac is, at his core, afraid of being powerless. He cares little for humanity, aside from Hector, whom he views as a brother, and a rival (perhaps a lover?). It is this instability of confidence that, inevitably, is his downfall
