& everyone else who would like to do it.
I will say again, I’m insecure when it comes to the tagging, so ignore if this is a bother.
I was tagged by @oleander4
Thank you so much. (It's the first time I feel so cherished so early by fellow fans tbh.)

The no tag part is for the same reasons as last night. I attempted to tag some of you, but didn’t really know if you wanted to do it, so I deleted.
Answer this with 5 things that bring you joy and put the ask in the last 10 people who reblogged something from you, let's spread some joy!
Five things that bring me joy, you say?
Well, first of all it’s been one hard half a decade and I just start finding pleasure in the things I used to love again.
* my family - basically my Mom & memories of my Dad begin to become pleasant again
* reading can be source of joy (or of stress depending on what I read)
* listening to my favourite music
* being inside a library
* thankfully I have found inspiration and joy in writing (and researching) again. And for that, I’m very grateful. (A thanks to Mr. Fellowes and most importantly warm thanks to Mr. James-Collier)

This blog being a sideblog means I will not be sending the message to anyone (sorry, my friends).
I hadn’t had a favourite character in a tv series since Ianto Jones (Torchwood). And I remember being pretty much into Hannibal Lecter when the NBC series had aired. OK, Tommy Shelby too.
It’s been more than a half a decade that I feel so invested in a character so all past thoughts I had come back in a way.
For one thing, I love to read how the actor creates and works with the character they portray. I believe it’s the most important part in what the audience sees and gets in the end.
However, same as with Fuller and RTD, I don’t like it when creators try to explain what they had in mind when they told their story. Maybe it’s because I’m (or try to be) a writer. The creation is out there to be watched or read. Each one of the viewers or readers will see it differently. And, you know, that’s alright. Because the creator’s job is to create. While they create they can add every little nuance, subtlety to both their story and their characters.
The moment it’s out there, it’s for each one of us to get what excites, inspires, makes us emotional. And it’s never the same thing for all of us.
Why? Because we project ourselves to x. y. z. part of the story and especially to a character.
And then you have the creator saying “well this is what I meant with x scene”. If they want something to be clear make it clear. If not, why not? Don’t be “this is what it’s behind it”. They had the chance to say it. Let the audience get what makes them happy from it.
You had your job, you made it, it’s out there. Let people enjoy it as they want.
@panicsheerbloodypanic has been kind enough to tag me and I thank you so very much.
Rules: Post 10 gifs of your favorite TV shows then tag 10 people (I won't tag, but if you see this and want to do it, go ahead and say I tagged you! I'd love to see your posts)
Merlin
I'm a kid in an adult's body. I love it.
Peaky Blinders
Cillian Murphy, Nick Cave, and Birmingham in the 1910s/1920s
Doctor Who
The RTD era and before that. I have to admit I stopped watching after David Tennant left the series
Grantchester
1950s and a hot, complicated vicar helping a cop solve crimes in Cambridgeshire
War and Peace
BBC's little masterpiece based on Leo Tolstoy's novel. Exquisite
Highlander
I watched it as a kid. I still remember it today. Methos was -unfortunately?- a role model.
Sherlock
(While now I simple adore RDJ's Holmes) Sherlock was an experience on its own
Hannibal
Mads Mikkelsen. I had an issue with the last season because it was so dark (literaly speaking) my visually challenged self could see nothing, but the first two seasons were art. And Mads Mikkelsen.
Wallander
Kenneth Bragnah brings a hell of a lot in another complex police officer somewhere in Sweden.
Downton Abbey
While we were in quarantine, my Mom decided to binge watch it. At some point, I was sitting writing in my laptop and I caught myself thinking the words in Lady Mary's accent, all the while tbelieving there's a cup of tea next to me. Thing is, I'm Greek.
Seriously though,Thomas! That's it. Thomas & Rob.
I was tagged by @panicsheerbloodypanic (thank you!) to post my top 10 favourite women from 10 different fandoms and tag 10 people. In no particular order:
Well, this was difficult
Apparently I don't like many female characters
(now, if it was male characters... anyway!)
Donna Noble - Doctor Who
Lizzie Shelby - Peaky Blinders
Jane Eyre - Jane Eyre
Camilla "Chummy" Noakes - Call the midwife
Elizabeth Bennett - Pride and Prejudice
And this is where I started looking at the walls around me because I couldn't think of anyone else....
however, I had a cup of coffee and after a lot of thought I remembered
Gemma Foster - Doctor Foster
Simza Heron - Sherlock Holmes A game of shadows
Clarice Starling - Silence of the Lambs
Prudence Sarn (my primary blog @prudencean is inspired by this) - Precious Bane (definitely no fandom to speak of though)
And because I can't think of anyone else (other than a couple of Jane Austen's heroines, but that would be one fandom)
Violet Crawley - Downton Abbey (only because of Maggie Smith)
