And then he sees it. A portrait, one of the smaller ones, a male form hidden. Paradoxically, hidden in light. Dressed in a tank top, the young man is painfully familiar in his strangeness. Light, black and white, and sepia, a youthful face he hasn't seen in years. Because time passes by quickly and people change. They grow old. They grow jaded. As he was forced to do by life experiences he prefers to not remember. But it is him. It is definitely him. A younger him, more beautiful and innocent as he has never been. 

(I'm aware the pic doesn't match the description. I made the edit weeks ago, and without seeing it I wrote whatever I wanted & possibly confused it with the tank top pic. Oh well!)
