I think Wanda is easily wooed. Even after years of being an Avenger and being around good people (even if they have wanted to literally murder her on occasion) she still isn’t sure she is deserving of kindness, and it still comes at a surprise. But as for falling in love, no, she’s got some trust hurdles to jump to get there.

💖 Present headcanon: Wanda makes meals in bulk and puts them into tupperware so anything can be microwaved in five minutes or less. She knows it still seems an age to Pietro, but it’s better than the alternative.

Past headcanon: While they were living as migrants in Eastern Europe, after particularly long stretches of hunger, or walking, or just general fatigue, when she could see Pietro fading, she would bring him into town and they’d find a place to dance. It would attract a crowd and sometimes that meant more running, but mostly it meant teaching whatever place part of who they were and learning about where ever they had landed for the time being.

❌ I think you’d all be better off without me. Especially you. Every time you’ve tried to have some sort of semblance of a normal life I’ve been there to ensure it’s failure in some way and I’m not entirely sure I’m sorry for it. I don’t know what I’d do without you, but I know you could find success in a lot of things without me. People accuse you of being selfish, but it’s me.

It’s why she tries, as much as patience will allow, with Erik when she can. She appreciates how quiet and reserved he is in comparison to some other choice members of her family. If they’re getting on, she likes to ask him questions about his life, about her mom, until he gets agitated, that is.
