I've always wonder this myself. And I'm just being real here. I ask myself do I really love that person or do I love what they provide for me. Why is it I say I love you? What is it that exists in between us that creates this love. Is this love or lust? Is this unconditional unexplainable love or is this good looks, great sex, financially stable, your a vegan, you think 9/11 was a inside job, I have no other options kind of love. I do believe love exists out there but I truly wonder how many who say they are in love are actually in love or in "fish love". I think the word love is used very loosely to sometimes hide behind what is truly taking place. Por que você está comendo peixe? O jovem responde: Porque eu amo peixe. Então, vc ama peixe? E por isso tirou ele da água, matou e o cozinhou. Não me diga q vc gosta de peixe. Vc ama vc mesmo. É pq o peixe é saboroso para vc e q vc tira ele da água, mata e cozinha. Muito do q é o amor, é o amor do peixe. Um casal de jovens se apaixonam, um homem e uma mulher se apaixonam... O que isso significa? Significa que esse homem viu nessa mulher, alguém que ele sentiu, que poderia satisfazer todas as suas necessidades físicas e emocionais. E ela viu nesse homem, alguém para se apoiar. Isso foi o amor. Mas, cada um buscava suas próprias necessidades. Não é o amor pelo outro. A outra pessoa se torna um veículo para a minha satisfação. Muito do que se chama amor, é o amor do peixe. Um amor externo. Não é sobre o que eu vou receber, é sobre o que eu vou dar. O rabino Dessler disse: As pessoas cometem um erro grave!
