It has now been more than four months since I last received any support, and the situation has become truly unbearable. I am writing to your hearts, your humanity, and your conscience.
We face unimaginable challenges every day: living in a tent under extreme summer heat, surrounded by insects, with no healthcare, no clean water, no electricity, no proper food. Even when some food is available in the market, its prices are impossibly high, especially when there is no work and no income at all. Life has become a struggle — not for comfort, but just to survive.
Some might think famine has ended because a few commercial goods entered Gaza — but the truth is far harsher. Since the war began, all our simple jobs stopped, the little savings we had are gone due to constant displacement, and what food exists is too expensive for families with no income. Today, we find ourselves unable to buy even the most basic food to survive.
Now, the situation has become catastrophic and is deteriorating to the worst it can be — with brutal bombardment, starvation, and yet another displacement into the unknown.
We have nothing left but our worn-out tent, which was our shelter when we were in the south, before we were forced to return to the north due to harsh weather — the burning summer heat, the cold, the winds, and the rains. We have nothing but this torn tent, which remains our only shelter despite its deterioration, and it will not be able to withstand these harsh weather conditions again.
We do not have the money to buy a new tent because it has become insanely expensive — a new one now costs $1,500. We also cannot afford transportation from the north back to the south because prices are astronomical — $600.
Of course, with this brutal war, we have lost everything: our home, our dreams, our jobs, and our dignified human life. We are now without shelter, without a future, unemployed, and without any source of income to earn our daily bread.
That is why I sincerely ask every person reading this message to help us, even with something small — to provide a tent, help with transportation, or simply help us survive this genocide taking place now. And even if you cannot donate, please share this campaign so it can reach as many people as possible who may be able to help.
These words come from my heart to yours — I hope they also reach your hearts and touch your living human conscience.
