Everyone has a moment in their life when one chapter ends and another begins. After a few chapters, they all seem to blur together. It’s hard to remember the small aspects or events that happened in between chapters. The reader may take a break for a few minutes or even put the book down for a few days. Either way, not every detail is remembered. Life is not as simple as turning a page, unless you’re trying to turn a page without any limbs. Whenever a reader turns a page, it’s like their leaping off of the edge of a cliff with their eyes closed; you never know what’s going to be on the next page. Sure, in books you can infer whether or not the boy kissed the girl or if the heroine has yet again fallen in to the arms of her star-crossed lover, but that is not reality. “REALITY” is the “world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic notional idea of them” How impractical would it be if everyone lived the life they always wanted? Who would we be if we didn’t live in this rollercoaster we call life? Unfortunately, utopia only exists in fairytales. Once the mind finally opens itself to reality, there is room for a whole new perspective of existence. Humans would no longer be egocentric beings, for we would be able to open our ears and listen to what other people have to say. Maybe reality is the ability to see things in their true structures, rather than in their starry-eyed form. Reality is simply, existence.
