"Castiel is that you?"
+4 on the hunt
"Cas?" Dean looked up over his glass to see his friend standing before him. He lit up every time Castiel came around; the bound they shared was nearly as unbreakable as the one he held with Sammy. He got to his feet, staring at him for a moment or two in disbelief before throwing his arms around the other and forcing him against his frame, embracing him warmly. "Man is it good to see you." He stated quietly, his voice breaking slightly.
Is It You? || Claire and Castiel (abscentwings)
Claire had been following angel radio for weeks, trying to track down Castiel. She was tired of not knowing where her father was, not knowing what his body was doing or if he was even still in his body. The way her mother looked when she didn't think Claire was watching was more than she could bear anymore, and she needed some sort of closure, if not for her than for her mom.
A travel map of the United States plotted every specific location the angels had seen fit to broadcast, and she turned it over in her hands. Was he even anywhere near where the angels thought he would be? She wished he would have answered her prayers. Claire folded the map and stuck it into the messenger bag that rested against her hip, pushed her hair out of her eyes, and tugged her jacket a little closer around herself.
Thinking that a convenience store was always as good of a place as any to start questioning the locals, Claire got directions from the front desk of the little motel where she was staying to the nearest convenience store and headed there on foot. Maybe this time she would get lucky, she thought. It hadn't happened the last three times she'd tried to find him, but maybe that was what it took - a few failed attempts before finally something went her way.
