Another update

I’m not really sure why i even bother to post on here now... but anyway I’ve had an exciting time in the past couple weeks. I had to go to court for a traffic ticked and that had my anxiety through the roof. But as things usually turn out I didn’t get reamed in the wallet. So I have that going for me, which is nice. My best friend and I got to hang out a couple times and just shoot the shit. Between work and band stuff we don’t get much leisure time. I got to introduce him to the Think Geek store and earlier today I went again with his younger brother/ the band’s frontman/guitarist and amazing stuff ensued. They had a lot more Steven Universe merch this time but either they had sold out or there just plain weren’t any Peridot items there. Makes me sad. Gotta have mah angry dorito. The biggest find today though was my new hat. I found a perfect fitting straw boater hat. Twas like it was meant to be. Needless to say I wore it out of the store. I had the impeccable foresight to be wearing a dress shirt, vest and bow tie combo so it fit well. I still have no idea how to write a conclusion.

Day 20

I am le tired. Did work. Did stuff. Ate a blizzard. regretted it immediately. Fun Times.

Day 19

Nothing fun to report. played Mandolin and Ukulele most of the day. Good day.

Day 12

Not gonna lie, being sick turns me into a whiny man-baby. I just worked a 5 hour shif and i feel as bad as if I worked a 10 hour shift. I’m plum tuckered. Halloween stuff it out in the store. and we have an animatronic skeleton that farts to the Addams Family theme. What a glorious world we live in.

Day 11

Its nice to have a day off with the SO. Watched Sweeny Todd cause Netflix got rid of Great Mouse Dective. Close enough right? Saw a shooting star too. pretty uneventful. Good day. I’mma sleep now.

Day 10

I somehow managed to make it through work today while being sick as a dog. I feel the need to rant though on something. 

I work in the show department of a well known retail chain (not sayin’ who) and it has come to my attention that the women who frequent my store just don’t know how to put something back where they found it. I know I’m getting paid to keep the place clean and all but there is no excuse for some of these people. I’ll grant you the men don’t always put it on the right hook but it at least makes it to a hook. most of the women just kick em off and shov em under the shelf before dropping another pair to try on. See when I was young I was raised in one of these stores and was taught that when I see something out of place I should put it back right. If I would have just tossed what I was looking at to the ground I would, as my father would say, “tote a whoopin’ ” and by golly the bottom shelf of every store I looked through was made to look nice when I walked through. 

Ok. Rant over. TL;DR put stuff back where it goes. Sorry about the bad spelling and grammar.

Day 9

It would seem I have caught the flu. I feel like a guy who is too sick to come up with witty analogies. Well as the saying goes “What doesn’t kill you makes you wish it did” or something along those lines. I really have nothing else to add.

Day 8

I found and fixed my voice recorder. took a bit of doing but it works now. I decided to post before work instead of after as I get off at 10 and have to be back there at 8am. Oh joy. It has been uneventful today. I sat down and watched all the Episodes including Peridot on Steven Universe. Which I admit might have inspired me to fix my recorder. I’m one of those losers now.  EDIT: I just saw that someone liked one of my posts. That made my day!
