Preacher Wish List

I have to save for some trips. But I tell you what. I really need the preacher comics. So books 1-6 or #AbsoluteEditions 1 2 and 3. Cause 66 issues isn't anything; there's the impossible to collect 300 of Hellblazer and the equally crazy number in Iron Man. Google find me Preacher books.

Without getting much into it for now…2016 is another year that I am #NotAtComicCon. And frankly, I’m glad for it…in some ways it’d be kinda cool to go, just to HAVE gone, but it’s not my scene; it’s gotten too huge, too many people in too small a space, it’s too non-comic focused, all the “good” panels would be full before I could get there, it would not be a conducive environment to hunt back…

DC & Vertigo Absolute Edition Checklist

In the same vein as my other Checklist posts, here is a comprehensive list of DC’s Absolute Editions. For those of you who don’t know, these are even more oversized than Omnibus and Deluxe editions. They have the highest quality paper stock and come in a slipcase.

For those of you who want to own the ultimate version of a book that you love, this is the format for you. I only own a couple of these myself, so I’ve borrowed a photograph from someone else's library.

I’ve sorted the DC books by type, with Events at the beginning, then by character. I’ve also grouped by author as much as possible, especially in the Vertigo section of the checklist, so you should find all the related books together.
