so a few friends and i are playing on a cooperative hypixel skyblock island. and on top of multiple horrible choices no one even remotely competent at mmorpgs would make, we {mostly i} built a separate building on our island to house all our storage chests. y'know, instead of leaving them out in the open such that they're easily accessible like every good skyblock player does
then i finally decide to work on the second floor i told the others i'd build, when i get a horrible idea. and after the thumbs up from the other players {actually just one of them.} i decided to build the floor as a dark, unnavigatable labyrinth of chests
there is no map. only one other player on this island knows that the second floor is like this, and only i know the actual layout through this maze. i specifically designed the pathways to be as confusing as possible, and the lack of light was also intentional. if mobs spawn, then it's free combat exp as you're desperately trying to find the items you need! wonderful design!
thankfully, the first floor isn't actually fully filled yet, so we don't have to use this second floor for the time being. but the day will eventually come.
this is definitely the correct way to play hypixel skyblock.
