poesy ring is a three-part bagginshield time-travel fixit where both bilbo and thorin keep their memories (and intense affections) from the previous timeline but neither of them know the other remembers (at least not at first)

because thorin is a drama queen he makes a poesy ring for bilbo with an inscription on the inside, basically "if you remember me for the love of god say so because i'm dying on the inside" (and of course, because bilbo is in denial, he doesn't say anything until late game)

i don't have any written content other than tiny little snippets because rewriting the entire hobbit trilogy is a bit... daunting, as they say, BUT i do have a written scene about smaug wrecking shop and some small dialogue bits

“What does it mean? Your inscription?” “Nothing in particular. I would ask, Bilbo, that you do what it says. Remember me.” “... Okay. I’ll remember you.” “Thank you.”
