The rational part of my brain is saying they are taking a much needed break from touring and social media and they are engaging in much-needed rat and relaxation time. Maybe they just threw their phones into the sea.

OR they have just filmed wdapteo 5 but they realized it’s too unhinged to send to their editors so they have to edit it themselves lest they reveal information We Aren’t Ready For.

The part of my brain that is constantly playing circus music is telling me that Phil is now in his second trimester so they are deciding how they can finally announce the phregnancy 🫃🏼

10. who would you prefer to be trapped in a lift for an hour with (yes just pretend they'd actually be apart)?

phil. he's such a breezy susan he'd just accept what he couldn't change and sit on the floor and start up a word game with you or something to pass the time. it'd be a hoot. dan is such a problem solver, he'd hate feeling helpless in any situation (even a situation that couldn't be helped) and would probably alternate between repeatedly trying to troubleshoot the situation and fidgeting uncomfortably. neither would help my own nerves 😭

15. favourite phil hair?

dreaded question for a phillie, how could you 😭 every phil hairstyle is a good hairstyle. literally. (except maybe that one phase where his quiff looked slightly too small for his head and was also gelled a bit too perfectly into a ledge every time? OK so maybe not every phil style is a good style) okay my top two options are: og emo hair (the one he sported in his arthouse film era, not the shorter/flatter emo hair he had in like bbc era onwards) or phlonde. like, on the one hand, HEYYY emo boy 🤭😚 on the other, an actual angel or devastatingly sexy model in front of our very eyes (depending on his mood) 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️ OUGH OKAY IT'S THE PHLONDE ISN'T IT. how basic. but it's just the right answer

I also don’t see the appeal of dinok. Like I’m sorry for dan that it was something he cared about that didn’t happen but I don’t get it

yea exactly! i hope he finds something that he cares about and he can do on his own terms as its sadly too common that things dont get made.

not claiming that i know dan or how we feels about his past but dinok feels like part of his old branding/ an era thats already gone. like digging up old wounds? because didnt he say in wad that death is inevitable but first we get to live? that for me kind of implies that thinking about how things wouldve been if yt hadnt worked out is just not necessary anymore. also i doubt anyone except devoted phannies would watch it because i dont think anyone else would care enough :/.

like i love dan but i hate the concept of thinking about what your life wouldve been like if you made different decisions / werent so lucky, because that didnt happen, did it? im a firm believer things are as they are because theyre in one way or another meant to happen to you. you might not have reached that point yet where you are happy but youre on the path to it. you are where you are because you become yourself and get yourself to that place. its very unlikely that in every situation where you now think you were lucky, the worst outcome couldve happened instead. the truth is, you never were and could become the person who you imagine yourself to live this alternative bad life. because you didnt. and you don't.

anyway. i hope dan gets to make what makes him happy right now, whether thats a solo project, joint project, or simply just keep going as it is atm, but i think if we see something from only him again, it will be something different than what we expect, that he hasn't talked about before and something of a new/more optimist branding. at least i can hope so lol.
