based off likely multiple chapters in which percy and peter are missing each other's identities by one quick roll over in their sleep, deadpool making fun of their obliviousness (and also chowing down on some well earned breakfast - do NOT ask how he's eating that with his mask still on pls) and the inevitable lament of needing to sweep the cobwebs out of the corner once peter's done with his hammock

despite being a school mystery, mitsuba is actually fairly weak compared to the others. he’s young and has no real training, so his powers are not particularly refined in useful ways

this is mostly fine, except that mitsuba cannot adjust his physical appearance the way that tsuchigomori or yako can. despite being the same age as his 17 year old boyfriend, he remains just barely taller than hanako

which is the worst

kou and nene make so many short people jokes that he’s ready to throw a desk at the next opportunity he gets. tsuchigomori and mei tease him and refuse to stop calling him “shrimp”

but even worst of all, is that he has to stand on top of a desk to talk down to kou during arguments. sometimes he has to stand on the stairs to poke him menacingly in the chest. and dont even get him started on trying to kiss when kou is in a particular goofy, cruel mood!

as a result, mitsuba has developed a habit of forceful smooches. if he has to drag kou down to kiss, then by god, he’s going to drag that bastard to the floor if thats what it takes
