Makoto stared up at the gigantic kong next to him, eyes wide and mouth hanging open. No way, this was absurd. Sure, Funky Kong was a tall monkey. He knew that. Everyone knew that. But to be put face to face with it, and to see that his head didn't even reach Funky's shoulder-- it was enough to render Makoto speechless, and he had to crane his neck to even be able to make eye contact with Funky. If I have to do this for too long, I'm gonna get neck problems!
Compared to Funky Kong's immensity, he was just what he always thought of himself: ordinary. A normal height. That Kong had too much style. That Kong had too much grace. That Kong had... A funky... Face...
