Abstrabbit fascinates me so fucking bad especially on Jax’s side cause like. I absolutely ADORE the idea that she’s so fucking bitter over the fact Zooble can allow themselves to exist. Like sure, Zooble is definitely still struggling with dysphoria. But do they have to taunt Jax by being honest and uncompromising in who they are no matter what? They both hate their dumb cartoony bodies, but ugh, how does Zooble still have their shit together and allow themselves to get close to people in spite of it?
Why do they call Jax out on all her bullshit but still foolishly believe she shouldn’t be left behind? It’s too late for saving Jax, it’s been too late since before Zooble even showed up! They’ve never even known a version of Jax that might’ve had a chance at redemption! Why do they often want to be the bigger person when she’s deliberately TRYING to make things worse? Zooble definitely could sink down to Jax’s level if they wanted to, what keeps them floating above that point?
Why can she never be as good as them?
