Recently went to the Bellevue Arts Museum for the first time. There was this exhibit of one artist work that was very fascinating. Lots of very sculptural artwork, a lot of it seemed round books and stories, creative with the intention of making you think.
Images 4-8: we were told to picture these books as a street. At the front of every book had a door in the back window. Two parts of one story.
There was another section with some beautiful portrait photography addressing racism and how we perceive people, all series of pieces like the other open book sculptures, and a few other individual pieces - everything by the same artist. Pretty sure the exhibit is there till the end of the year, so if it's not gone yet, go check it out! Highly recommend!
