All of my previous fractal images in a single archive. 13 unscaled & lossless PNGs, total size: ~108MB
Too busy uploading & posting links for each.
If you wonder why no image on this tumblr page is as hi-res as promised by its description, it’s because tumblr doesn’t support those huge original image sizes so you would have to go with the linked archive
OK, now for the legal stuff:
“Fractals” by Frank Harwald, this includes all files in the above Fractals.zip archive To the extent possible under law, the person who associated CC0 with “Fractals” has waived all copyright and related or neighboring rights to “Fractals”. You should have received a copy of the CC0 legalcode along with this work. If not, see <http://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/>.
“Fan Palms and Begonias” first: zoom in, second: overview.
Another single-layered but shaded escape-time fractal with a custom formula. This one exhibits numerical instabilities, shown in the first picture, but gives an interesting overall structure.
5120 x 3840 pixels, 7.28MB lossless PNG
5120 x 3840 pixels, 20.32MB lossless PNG
“Mixing Paint”
Another single-layered but shaded escape-time fractal with a custom formula that is just a slight modification of the original mandelbrot one (AFAIR just divided the mandelbrot equation by z and inserted an abs() somewhere).
5120 x 3840 pixels, 5.36MB lossless PNG
2 different ways of combining the “Icebergs and Floes on the arctic ocean” with the previous multi-layered Mandelbrot pictures using Photoshop.
2304 x 1632 pixels, 2.96MB lossless PNG
2304 x 1632 pixels, 4.94MB lossless PNG
“Icebergs and Floes on the Arctic Ocean”
Single-layered escape-time Fractal, custom gradient & formula (AFAIR something involving arctan(), exp() & others).
