Process shot... Hey guys, so I've definitely gone a bit silent on this account. Life has been kicking me in the butt and, frankly, I've been doing my best to survive let alone make art. My husband and I are just finishing a week of relaxing, the first break we've had since Christmas. It's felt strange navigating this new world and planning our big move to Canada. There is a whole lot of change percolating in the air and a lot of unknown, which always seems to freeze up my creative energy. I sat down at my art desk for the first time in about 2 months and let myself scribble and splatter colour with no planned direction. It's been freeing and oddly emotional. I'm not sure what the emotions mean but art is certainly a guiding force to healing and the unconscious. I hope to find more space to create in these coming summer months and to share more with this creative community.
