Upcoming: “Abstract” Other/kin Discord Server

Alright, so this is it. I’ve searched for a server of this nature for a long time with no results, so I will now be making it myself: an “abstract kin” kincord.

“Abstract” kin, “concept” kin, what have you -- includes, but is not limited to:

Void-kin

Darkness-kin, light-kin

Space-kin, star-kin, moon-kin, sun-kin

Elements, such as fire-kin, water-kin, and so on

Weather, such as rain-kin, snow-kin, cloud-kin, and so on

Embodiments of concepts, such as love, famine, war, death, emotions (jealousy, happiness, rage, etc), and so on

For clarity, think of Cupid, Venus, the four horsemen of the apocalypse, Erebus, and so on; these figures are, or are sometimes interpreted as, embodiments, representations, or personifications of the concepts they govern. (Those who kin personifications of abstractions, such as the examples given, are just as welcome.)

I’ll be making this a casual, relaxed community, and a place for hanging out, making friends, and sharing experiences. It will be system-friendly (including fictives and introjects) and double-friendly.

Like yeah I kept an eye on things and held balance. But only in the same way that a deer and a wolf keep balance with the circle of life. It was just kinda, instinctual.

My therian shifts are so often influenced by time of year and weather it's wild.

My strongest shifts are in the changes of spring and fall when I need to migrate, forage, build shelter, prepare for hibernation (fall) or protect and expand my territory (spring).

Where as My strongest abstract shifts are more based on things like stress, emotions, etc, sometimes it's seemingly random. I'll go into these another time.

Anyways for the past several days I've been in a near constant phantom shift. Mostly large felines, but occasionally a wolf or a raccoon. Just constant ears and tail, sometimes a bit of a muzzle.

Very un-poggers. How can I "stay silly :3" in these kinds of conditions?!?

Sometimes, the way I feel my 'kin is really complex. I am the void, I am absence, I am hollow. At the same time I am everything, omniscient and ubiquitous, I am matter. Shifting, changing, but still the same.

There are times that I take forms of animals, or objects, even concepts. And they all feel uniquely me. As if it were another kintype. But then it'll shift again.

I often call the forms I've enjoyed and frequent "hearttypes/kithtypes" but that's not quite accurate. "Kintype" isn't quite accurate either. It's somewhere in the middle. Things are me, but occasionally Things arent me. Sometimes its both simultaneously. It can be voluntary but it also frequently isn't. It doesn't make much sense and for some reason I find comfort in that.

But interestingly. I'm never completely human. "Human" is one of the few things it feels that I will never be, even if I relate to them.

I'm now taking on the label/tag Abstractkin.

Conceptkin doesn't feel like it expresses how... vague? My 'type is. A Concept feels like something you can understand, something you can describe, but I never quite feel like I'm able to do either of those?

My 'type makes more sense under Abstract. It's vague, but does have a core to it. It has a common theme, but can be interpreted WILDLY differently based on time/mood/etc. It's like trying to describe a color to someone whos never seen color before. Or a taste to someone who's never tasted.

There are a bunch of labels that *almost* fit. Shapeshifter. Glitch. Object. Eldritch. Element. Divine. Void. Concept.

So I'm just gonna lump them all together and file them under Abstract.

(Though I'll probably still use Void occasionally, it has a special place in my heart. And I'll definitely still be posting feline stuff, as feline is one of my favourite forms)
