Parent Absurdness
Case 1:
Mom: You need to find out where you’d go in case the your college closes due to snow.
Me: First off, why would they kick me out of my dorm room just because it snowed? Secondly, this is Wisconsin.
Case 2:
Mom: I think I will allow you to call us once a week instead of daily now that you weigh 64.0lb instead of 63.8 since your weight is so much higher.
Me: *thinks* that’s literally just a .2lb difference but okay.
Case 3:
My dad: you need to weigh yourself everyday so you don’t lose weight as quickly. Weighing just twice a week will make the weight go off much faster.
Logic: weighing everyday will just make the increments look smaller. I’m tube fed so the calories will stay the same. I’ll still lose same amount of weight by the end of the week. (Also thankfully I’ve stopped losing weight FYI)
Case 4:
Parents: you are not allowed to go to class or leave your dorm room. You will burn to many calories. Also, try to go to more social events and don’t forget to do groceries.
Me: *thinks* you literally contradicted yourself...
