Who is nelward

Nelward is a musical artist that I got into halfway through last year. He’s got some funny songs and a neat Twitter as well as 90s inspired music videos that he does in a square aspect ratio.

If you want funny music and videos, I recommend Christmas Boys (which came out in March), DVD, get off the pot, and unconditional crust. These each have a different energy and vibe, but are some of the nonsensical and funny songs (... okay most of them are short videos he posted on YouTube and aren’t SONGS but they’re important). He has more funny songs and videos up too.

He also has some just straight jams, like GHOST, Innuendo, and Never Wanna Fall in Love With U. These three are my FAVORITE songs!!

If you want to really relate to the mood and be kinda moody, you can try Fashion (a long time favorite from before I got into Nelward), im getting better, and Tha Dog Song.

This is all completely ignoring his latest releases too (the EP Eat Your Dreams and the single dropped just a bit ago cosmic relief / gumdrops), but that’s mostly because they haven’t entered my main rotation of tunes yet. I’m a man of habit lol.

He’s also made tracks for some games; Nyakuza Manholes from A Hat in Time, and two games that got cancelled during development, Postaloon and Vultus.

Anyways Nelward is just a fun dude and i love him and i think everyone should listen to his music and tunes and buy his merch! I have one CD and I want to get his other. He signs them if you ask and I had no idea when I bought the EP...
