Long weird freeform poem thing
A poem starts abruptly Like a friendship Like a dream. You're plopped into the poem Just as you are onto this earth In other words I don't know how to start this. I want to ease your mind And warm your heart And touch your soul I need to hold you close And feel your pulse And call you mine. You are living on this world As am I. Which is more than we can say for most worlds And 2 lifetimes is more than most friendships ever dream. More than most friendships ever see Even if we long to be more Even though we know we are more. Your intention is to protect me and yet A world without you Is a world not for me I would be nothing if you had your way. I was destined for nothing You gave me a purpose There was no forcing No manipulating No hesitation. You told me your thoughts And our minds So aligned I had no choice but to go your way Because you understand. Only you understand. And I understand that the guilt is ridiculous I feel it too I sometimes wish we didnt But I’m glad that we did! Because if we didnt We wouldnt have 2 lifetimes That most friendships never have. A poem ends abruptly as it starts. That is to say, I’m not sure how to end this.
