Task 006: Acrostic Poem (but it’s just things King says)

K - Kid, move out of the way, there is a king coming through.

I - I can’t believe you wore those shoes with that shirt.

N - No, Fab, I’m not coming to cuddle with you.

G - Gotta see how much fan mail I have today.

S - Smiling will give you wrinkles.

L - Look at me, I mean really look. Have you ever met someone so fabulous?

E - Even I know better than to try to take a snack out of Mary’s hands.

Y - You couldn’t be me if you tried.

restless. always pushed others away and under the bus so you can go to the       top. energy.you never sleep, you always want to show the best version of yourself or  at least the one the version they know of you. glass. you’ve broken glass so many times before “by accident” to hide your own   feelings. uncertain. because you never know what tomorrow brings and you hate it. loving. but never showing it because loving is weak, they say. understanding; understanding of the hard times, understanding that people           leave, but not understanding why they leave. sobbing. late at night, when nobody hears because that is the only moment you  are allowed to be true to yourself.

do you know what it takes to be a hero? or are you a child playing pretend again? retaliate, you cry out cursing with fury all those who rejected you. denied you any ounce of respect for simply being less.

born under a bad star or perhaps no star at all evening fallen with no light to find that is your destiny haven’t you always known? always the sacrifice never the survivor you are the weapon.

mother, thank you. every sin you marked against me was only preparation and now I am the raging fire delivered from evil or witch even that doesn’t matter if in the end I can save them.

never did I think that I would be surrounded, yet so alone in the drifting minds of war torn youths ravaged by the blood of their forefathers caring not for their own thoughts ignited by words that have no meaning, but for deeds. slipping soulless away

lost again in the veil that all wander undone by meeting your own gaze that cut away marble stone exteriors ruin, that is our nature evermore we ruin time passes in every state are we all we are?

blood traitor, the screeching reaches me like a stab from the blind and I am frightened called to dark by the black name ingrained kiss me farewell.

moving.always on track to find a way to change for the better. alarmed. unsure of tomorrow,so always keeping an eye open. radiant. her energy is always there to help someone have a good day. leaning. leaning on others for help because getting help is okay. everlasting. everlasting friendships, everlasting love- always counting on. never. never letting go of friends. never stopping to fight. ever wished upon a star that your loved ones would be able to have the life they deserve?
