Can't text you right now so hoping you see this. Don't be too down about Fairfield. I was talking to Mayme and she said a lot of times these things are rigged. They already have a person in mind and just put up the job post because they have to. Them not interviewing you after saying they would sounds fishy enough to me to think this is what happened. Enjoy NJ and focus on making contacts in Manhattan. I wish you had a business card but make sure to collect a ton of them and be proactive about giving out your contact info if you can.
