It was one of those unexpectedly busy nights at the bar, and unlike most bosses who might leave their employees to deal with it, Samson just wasn’t that kind of boss. He stayed until the last customer left, pitching in where he could, from helping the bartenders serve drinks, to aiding security in keeping the peace, to cleaning up the last bit. Needless to say as his loud old truck pulled up to the cabin, the wolf was actually tired. He crept in quietly, knowing the omega he took in so long ago still didn’t sleep well yet didn’t want to chance waking him up if he did manage to fall asleep. The Beta wolf stepped as quietly as he could to his room, pulling his shirt off and tossing it aside, and climbed in to bed after starting a cigar. Resting his eyes, he laid there just enjoying getting to relax, when he heard a creaking sound, catching the younger wolf’s scent more. “How many times do I have to tell you, Pup? If you want to come in, come in. You don’t have to linger outside my room.” Samson knew it was where Henry came from that had him so timid, and while he did come a long way with a lot of things, he’d hoped the Omega would feel more at ease about the other things.
