Pressed against a wall in a dark alley, rain soaking through his clothes. It was funny that even in his last moments, even on his deathbed, Haru couldn’t do anything. He was completely powerless, paralysed by fear. His whole life had ben like this; passing by while he stood there, just going with the flow. Never questioning anything. And now he would die just as he’d lived. **_T_**he sound that escaped his mouth was that of a whimper, not even the sound of the rain enough to drown it out. The creature, the _man, _pressed him against the cold bricks with a strength like no other. He struggled to breathe, closing his eyes to block out the close proximity of the stranger. **_B_**eing chased by him, Haru had realised how fast he was. Haru wasn’t exactly a fast runner, but the stretch he’d been chased seemed to have little to no effect on the predator. Another thing he’d noticed, even in a situation like this was how pale the male was, how vibrant his eyes were; how sharp his teeth were… **“** **_V–_** Vampire.. **”** The word had escaped his mouth before he could stop himself, and before he knew it he was up against the wall, hearing the man’s voice whisper in his ear. **_A_**ll he could do now was beg for mercy. **“** **_P–_** Please don’t hurt me.. **” **
