Ok so like. Vampire Byler. It's hit me like a freaking bus, and paired with Bloody Byler it's so. Ghh.

As we know I love angst. So this is in the world-end-apocalypse AU now, I made Mike a vampire via possession and now Will has to deal with THAT. Meanwhile Mike is ALSO dealing with whatever he definitely doesn't feel for Will. And they're trying to figure out how tf they're defeating the Mind Flayer when it's just them left, & when Will is hurt and Mike is only half there.

I love gay people, they're so tragic and stupid <3 Truly nobody is doing it like them.

I'm sooooo excited to write this, I feel like my brain is going to explode out my ears. Between this au and the latter-series rewrite I'm doing, my gears are TURNING.

ALRIGHTY BYLER NATION! THE RESULTS ARE IN!! 💛💙

Looks like I will be starting with the Mike POV & rewrite, which IS the harder one, HOWEVER I have been thinking about how and what I'll be rewriting.

Turns out I kind of want to redo a lot of the UD/Vecna lore of s4, kill the Russian plot entirely, and scrap the Wormhole/Abyss. And of course all of s5 gets an entire redo. So it will be! A lot! But I believe in myself, I can complete it.

What will likely happen is I'll alternate between the two fics, since I am really excited about the Apocalypse AU idea and want to write it for myself. Mike POV (what I've tentatively titled a lyric from Headlock by Imogen Heap, so I'll be calling it Headlock as well) will be posted first!

I need to get over my need to keep things secret for shock factor, thus not telling anybody about it so there's nobody to get excited with me, so I'll be posting lore thoughts, lore/story updates, snippets, and general ramblings about any of my Stranger Things fics from here on out!
