アンビエント・ノイズの初ライブアルバム発売決定！ Ambient Noise Live Album Release Announced!​

通常のバンド編成とは異なる3人編成で、ループミュージックを一から構築し、インプロビゼーションを軸にした2部構成で制作。2024年7月24日、吉祥寺NEPOで収録されたライブ音源を5/3にリリース。

本作は、映像と音を一つの作品として創り上げており、即興から生まれるアンビエント・ノイズの音世界をより深化させる映像が、音と溶け合い、唯一無二の没入体験へと誘う。

初のセルフミックスに加え、マスタリングはゆらゆら帝国やBORISなどを手がける中村宗一郎氏が担当。

This work is a live recording performed on July 21, 2024, at Kichijoji NEPO, created by a three-piece ensemble different from our usual band formation, building loop-based music from scratch and structured in two parts with improvisation at its core.

Additionally, this piece is crafted as a unified work of both sound and visuals. The visuals, which deepen the immersive world of ambient noise born from improvisation, are a form of evolving art alongside the music itself. As the images and sounds merge, they create a one-of-a-kind immersive experience.

Release / REKA "Decadence"

2024/3/29 Release Moment of Collapse Records MOC203 1.Decadence 20:52 *国内で購入できるのは当レーベルのみとなります。 社会情勢やメンバーの事情などでバンド活動が制限される様になった彼らは前作の"Jupiter"からこの曲のリリースまでには約5年の歳月を要しました。 本作は20分52秒という長尺曲で、ダウンチューニングされた重厚なリフと、雰囲気漂うメロディックなパートが絶妙に融合し、どんどんと展開していくストーリーの様に紡がれいく彼ら独自のポストメタルサウンドに、Presence of SoulのYukiとRyoのボーカルが加わることで、新たなアプローチがもたらされ、この楽曲にさらなる深みと質感が与えている。 Yukiはボーカルだけではなく、メロディ制作に加え、曲名『Decadence』と名付け、歌詞の作成、そして書き下ろしのペン画によるアートワークも手がけました。これにより、REKAとPresence of Soulが共同で作り上げた極めて貴重な作品となっています。

Due to social and personal circumstances that began to limit their band activities, it took REKA nearly five years to release this track following their previous work, Jupiter.

This 20-minute and 52-second opus masterfully weaves together downtuned, heavy riffs with atmospheric melodic passages, creating a narrative-like progression that epitomizes their unique post-metal sound. The addition of vocals by Yuki and Ryo from Presence of Soul introduces a fresh approach, adding depth and texture to the composition.

Yuki contributed not only her vocals but also participated in crafting the melody, naming the track Decadence, writing the lyrics, and creating a custom pen-and-ink artwork for the release. These elements combine to make this an exceptionally rare and collaborative creation between REKA and Presence of Soul.

REKA (Russia)

2007年にロシアの激情ハードコアシーンでは伝説的なバンド"Optimus Prime"のメンバーによって結成されたポストメタル・ポストハードコアバンド。 "Celeste"の現メンバーがヴォーカルで在籍していたことでも知られ、15年以上にわたりヨーロッパのアンダーグラウンド・ポストメタルシーンの重要な柱として活躍してきた。

2011年〜Sequoian Aequisionのメンバーもラインナップに加わり、度々のメンバーチェンジもされた影響か、アルバムを重ねるごとにサウンドを進化させ、新たなアイデアや視点を積極的に取り入れてきたが、3枚のアルバムを完成させた後、本国での社会情勢によりメンバーの拠点が各国に離散してしまった為、2024年リリースのEP"Decadence"後の活動は未定となっている。

A post-metal/post-hardcore band formed in 2007 by members of the legendary Russian screamo hardcore band Optimus Prime. Known for having a current member of Celeste as their vocalist, the band has been a significant pillar of the European underground post-metal scene for over 15 years.

With members of Sequoian Aequision joining the lineup in 2011, and subsequent lineup changes that followed, the band’s evolving sound may have been influenced by these shifts. They embraced new ideas and perspectives with each album, continually refining their musical identity. After releasing three albums, however, the band faced the challenge of political and social turmoil in their home country, which limited their ability to continue their activities. Following the release of their 2024 EP, Decadence, the band's future activities remain uncertain.
