YAROTZ (France)

フランスのハードコアパンク・メタルバンド。当初はThe ThirdEyeというバンド名で活動。 JUNON（Season of Mistでも流通有り）のメンバーであるFabien Zwernemann（Gt./Vo）とVincent Perdicaro（Ba./Vo. One Way Mirror、Lyzanxia）が中心に結成。2020年初頭からドラマーのEnzoLaidiが加入。GOJIRAのギタリストであるChristian Andreuもサポート参加している。

ハードコアパンクから派生されたアグレッシブで力強いサウンドを基に、ポストメタル的要素、ダークなフレーズを多く取り入れバンドサウンドも進化し続けている。今年2022年は、Year of No Light, Fangeなどを手掛けるCyrille Gachetをエンジニエアに迎え、3月23日にファーストアルバム「Erinyes」をリリース。 また、BIRDS INROWやBRUTUSなどのオープニングアクトを始め、フランス国内でも精力的にライブを行い、今後はヨーロッパ最大のメタル野外フェスHELLFESTの参加も予定。フランス国内外で注目のバンドである。

YAROTZ is a French hardcore punk metal trio, formed in 2018. It consists of Fabien Zwernemann (guitar/vocals, also guitarist of JUNON), Vincent Perdicaro (bass/vocals, also in JUNON, One Way Mirror and Lyzanxia), and Enzo Laidi (drums) since early 2020. The band distinguishes itself by a mix of hardcore punk inspired energy and dark melodies from post-metal. The influences are diverse and go from Converge to Chelsea Wolfe. They are accompanied by the XL Tour, structure of the department of Landes, the SMAC network of Landes and they are also supported by Christian Andreu, guitarist of GOJIRA. Following the release in January 2019 of their first demo, the group has performed numerous concerts throughout France with opening acts for BIRDS IN ROW or BRUTUS, including a tour organized by Terrain Vagues Records.

In 2021, the group went back on stage by participating in the auditions of the Festival du Printemps de Bourges and they recorded their first album "Erinyes" with Cyrille Gachet (Year of No Light, Fange...) and had it mastered with Alan Douches. Accompanied by the agency Hexagon Booking and Terrain Vagues, the group prepares the concerts which will accompany the release of the album (March 23) and the 2022 edition of HELLFEST.
